I have been asked not to reveal the identity of the cast member in question, but I will say that it is deffinately going to be worth listening to, and that I can't wait. There is a new episode of 24 Inside Available at the 24 Inside Website, remeber to keep checking that site because they will be posting new episodes soon.

Kiefer and the gang have been promoting Season 7 in Munich and London, for photo's of that see here . On Friday (just gone, 23/01/09) Kiefer appeared on ITV's This Morning as well as the Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1. Carlos Bernard (Tony) and Annie Wersching (Renee Walker) also appeared on BBC Breakfast. Until 30/01/09, you can listen again to Kiefer on the Chris Moyles show here on BBC Iplayer.

I have updated the Season 7 page with information on the Region 2 Release of the Season 7 DVD, including it's coverart. I have also updated the Merchandise Page with news of a Tenth 24 Declassified Novel.

On a more disappointing note Kiefer Sutherland and Howard Gordon have been in the news this week stating that they think Season 8 will be the show's final Season. But they did say that the hope to finally make a 24 Movie (which they have talked about and postponed for the last 4 Years) when the show ends, Kiefer stated on the Chris Moyles Show that some of it could be set in London. - Source 1, Source 2


Published using FREE HitRSS]]> Sun, 25 Jan 2009 16:20:00 GMT http://blogs.hitrss.com/24uk#rss14 Sky1 Change of Schedule http://www.freewebs.com/24uk Just a quick note to say that Sky1 have changed the broadcast dates for 24, they will still be airing the first 2 episodes of Season 7 on Monday (12/01/09) but will won't be airing the next 2 episodes until the next week (it is unclear whether this will be Monday 19th or Tuesday 20th. Because of this change of schedule there is a possibility that they will be airing episodes 5 & 6 back to back as well so that the UK get new episodes the same week as they air in the US, although this is me merely speculating as this is what they did in 2007 with season 7. Check back for more information as it becomes available.

I have news that season 7 will premiere in the UK on Monday January 12th 2009 at 21:00 on Sky1 (and Sky1 HD) with 2 episodes being shown on the Monday and the next 2 being shown the day after on the Tuesday, beforing settling into 1 episode a week to be shown Tuesdays at 21:00, meaning that the UK get new episodes the day after they have aired in the US.

I also have news of an exclusive behind the scenes look at 24 being shown on Sky1 (and Sky1 HD) on Monday 5th January 2009 at 22:00.

Published using FREE HitRSS]]> Sun, 07 Dec 2008 16:15:00 GMT http://blogs.hitrss.com/24uk#rss11 Roll On January http://www.freewebs.com/24uk So 24 : Redemption has aired and is available on DVD from Monday (1st December) and having received my copy of the 2 Disk version early I would deffinately recommend it for the extended version of the feature alone!.

Season 7 begins in the US on January 11and will air in the UK also in January (sources: adverts during the 24 Redemption showing on sky1 and the flier inside the Redemption DVD), there is a report that 24 will move to Tuesday's on Sky1 meaning that we will get episodes a day after they air in th US.

You should also check out the official fox website for 24 as they are currently posting dossiers every few days which "revie Jack's past actions as a CTU agent in service to his country".

And please keep an eye on the site this week as I will be updating the Redemption and Season 7 pages, posting images of the Redemption 2 Disk DVD and posting a review of the book "Jack Bauer For President".

Also there is new information on the 24 Redemption UK DVD's (released 01/12/08) regarding special features on the 1 Disk and 2 Disk editions, so for more information on that and a source for the Sky1 air dates check out the 24 Redemption page.

There is also a new 2:30 season 7 trailer doing the rounds, so I have added a link to it on the Season 7 page.

Also Links to 2 new trailers (Sky1 version and an official version) have been added to the Redemption Page, there is also news of another new 3 minute official trailer which will air in the US tomorrow (Source). We will have a link available for this trailer as soon as one becomes available.

Although there are several reliable sources quoting this name change all the official promotional material still says Exile, so it should be taken with a pinch of salt - Source1, Source 2

Also many online UK DVD retailers are quoting the release date for 24 Redemption as 01/12/08, 1 week after the US release date, this isn't a confirmed date but it is listed by several different retailers - Source

My guess would be that it will air within a week after the US broadcast (23/11/08), as the air dates of episodes of 24 on Sky have been getting nearer to the american air dates for the last 3 years, the most recent being Season 6 following just 7 days after the US broadcast.

There is also news on a Region 1 (USA) DVD release of the prequel on 25/11/08, just 2 days after it's US air date. The DVD will feature an extended creator's cut of 24: Exile on DVD. Extras include commentary, "Making Of" and "Children of War" featurettes, a brief summary of the sixth season, the season 7 trailer, and the "First Act" of the seventh season. No news on a UK release, they may choose to release a Region 2 (Europe) version of this DVD or include it with the Season 7 DVD set.
