Part 2 - Setting up your RSS Channel

Before you can broadcast your brand new RSS feed, at first you have to set up some important RSS Channel feed information.

With HitRSS it's very easy. All you have to do is to fill out the simple form with the following information:

1. RSS Channel Title (choose the name for it)

2. Description of your new RSS Channel (remember to be as brief as possible, don't forget to use your main web site keywords to boost your traffic!). Writing a description is very easy as HitRSS gives you an easy-to-use Web editor so you can write a stylish description without any knowledge of HTML.

3. Link to your web site for your readers to know where the news come from.

4. Copyright Info - typically your name or the name of your company.

5. Language in which you are writing your news. Default is American English.

After you've filled in all the information, it's time to accept it, clicking on the button "Change!"

6. You LOGO image - a way to personalize your RSS feed.

Typically all RSS feeds come with a logo image that identifies them. By default, every RSS feed created using HitRSS has a "Powered by HitRSS" logo. To personalize your RSS feed even more, HitRSS gives you a simple way to upload your own logo image and add it to your RSS Channel. This useful feature is available to HitRSS PRO users only.

Your RSS Channel is ready! Now it's about time to add new feed items to your brand-new RSS Channel.
